GERMANY LOVES OBAMA

Fresh off of his win in Iowa, Barack Obama has found new support in the most unlikely of places- Germany. According to the International Herald Tribune, Obama’s youth, image, optimism, and his message of hope is echoing far behind the United States all the way to Central Europe.

At the heart of Germany’s love for the former Illinois senator and Democratic presidential hopeful is his political resemblance to Germany’s favorite American president, John F. Kennedy. Kennedy visited Berlin in the wake of the erection of the Berlin Wall by the communist East German government in 1961 and gave his famous, “I am a Berliner” speech.

“There are similarities between JFK’s time and today,” said Berlin resident Karsten Rossow. “People are ready for the politics of change.”

Washington bureau chief for the German Tagesspiegel newspaper Christoph von Marschall recently authored a book entitled “Barack Obama, The Black Kennedy.” It is his view that Obama will bring change to America and the world that reminds Germans of Kennedy. Von Marschall notes, “Only a small, informed minority knew about Barack Obama in December.” But after Obama’s win in Iowa von Marschall’s book is flying off the shelves in Germany.

With strong and growing international support Obama’s leadership might just be the thing to repair the damage of eight years of George W. Bush. The Germans have hit the nail on the head with the Kennedy metaphor. Kennedy was young, idealistic, charismatic, and committed to making the United States a better place for all Americans. It seems history is repeating itself.

Life the challenge is to be commanded with understood fear, courage and bravery! Our fears are our basic senses; our courage’s are our buildup sense and sensibilities; and our braveries are our developed knowledge with understanding. Change must flow with wisdom from the human race. Nature is the truth that command and demand life to develop well to flow well of it. Our leaders must express wisdom and our population must command and demand wisdom now. The truths of being dose not care if any state of being command and demand wisdom. Our leaders and we being led must stay responsible now and always to render the best for our human case. This is wisdom. Current history has invented a state of mind for us to challenge our leaders, our selves and children to create our best future. I think and feel that Senator Obama was invented well to lead of our time!
