OBAMA'S CAMPAIGN PICKS UP STEAM IN IOWA

Obama is Superman

Barack Obama wowed attendees at the Iowa Democratic Party’s Jefferson-Jackson dinner last Saturday night. “If we are really serious about winning this election, Democrats, then we can’t live in fear of losing,” Obama said. “This party, the party of Jefferson and Jackson and Roosevelt and Kennedy, has always made the biggest difference in the lives of the American people when we led not by polls but by principle, not by calculation but by conviction, when we summoned the entire nation to… a higher purpose.”

OBAMA SCORES BIG LAUGHS ON SNL

Barack Obama surprised national viewers Saturday night when the presidential hopeful appeared on the long running comedy show Saturday Night Live. The opening sketch involved a Halloween party featuring a bored Hillary (played by Amy Poehler) and an outrageous Bill Clinton (Darrell Hammond) speaking with the other Democratic candidates in their Halloween costumes.

WARMONGERING

Our country is in the final stages of rule by the only man to not learn the lessons of Vietnam. Are we really ready for more? Mitt Romney, one of the leading Republican primary candidates, recently commented that he is in favor of "bombardment of some kind" against Iran. Rest assured, if Bush doesn't mire our nation in another war, Romney will.

CLINTON AHEAD IN IOWA

Voters were asked who they would vote for if the primary election were held that day.

Bush visits California fire victims

In typical Bush fashion our beloved Commander-in-Chief visited Southern California this week, saying and doing all the right things to make the PR people happy. That’s right; he even managed to look mildly concerned as he put an arm around a California woman who lost her home.

“We want people to know that there is a better day ahead,” said Bush, “…today your life may look dismal, but tomorrow life’s going to be better.” Profound, Mr. Bush. Profound.

HILLARY DEFENDS CONSTITUTION FROM BUSH POWER GRAB

It's a statement of fact that Bush has grabbed a large and unprecedented and unconstitutional amount of power for the executive branch during his two terms in office. So it was a breath of fresh air to hear Hillary defend the constitution and the American people. In a remarkable and noteworthy statement to Michael Tomasky, Hillary mentioned that she will review and release some of the powers that Bush has claimed.
